FALL 2025
Ampeur’s Fall 2025 release, Lamina, explores organic materials and forms, met with thoughtful utility and innovative fabric treatments. The title draws from the dual meanings of "lamina": a protective layer and the blade of a leaf. This duality shapes the collection's reflection on the layered nature of garments and clothing as our outermost layer.
Natural textiles such as worsted wool and extra-long staple cotton compose the body of each piece, chosen for their inherent handle and breathability. These qualities are refined through modern treatments that enhance both texture and performance: silket processing lends our long-sleeve t-shirts further softness and luster, while a water-repellent finish forms a protective barrier over our wool hooded blouson.
Elevated technical details further capture the essence of lamina. Darts and curved seams recall the veining of a leaf, subtly shaping the body while concealing discreet features such as thumbholes and pockets. Interior layers are treated with equal intention: slouchy wool trousers and boxy windbreakers are lined in fluid Bemberg cupro, forming a smooth and breathable surface between garment and skin.
