Returns
We are unable to accept returns or exchanges at this time. We kindly ask that you review our sizing guides before making a purchase to ensure the best fit. If you have any questions about sizing, please contact us directly; our team will be happy to assist.

If your order arrives with an error on our part (such as an incorrect item or a defect), please contact us immediately at contact@ampeur.co. We are committed to resolving any issues promptly. Please note: we cannot accept returns of worn, used, or altered items. All items must be in their original condition and packaging as shipped.

 

Shipping
• Domestic (Japan): Orders are shipped via Sagawa Express.
• International: Orders outside Japan are shipped via DHL, UPS, or USPS.

Please allow up to 2 weeks for processing and dispatch, and up to 5 additional business days for final delivery. Tracking information will be sent by email once your order has shipped and will typically update within 12 hours.

Once an order has been processed, it cannot be modified or canceled.
Ampeur is not responsible for packages that are lost, stolen, or damaged in transit. In such cases, we recommend contacting the shipping carrier to file a claim, or reporting a theft to local authorities.

 

Customs & Duties
International orders may be subject to customs duties, tariffs, or import taxes upon arrival.

These additional charges are set and collected by local governments, not by Ampeur. These fees are not included in your order’s shipping cost.

Because these charges vary by country and shipping courier (who may set additional handling or brokerage fees), we are unable to predict or cover the exact costs on your behalf. To avoid unexpected fees, we recommend checking with your local customs office for additional information before placing your order.

All orders are shipped as merchandise, and the declared value of each package cannot be changed. Items cannot be marked as gifts or low value to avoid customs charges.


USA Shipping & Tariff Update
Due to recent changes in U.S. tariff policy affecting Japanese-origin goods, Ampeur is implementing the following shipping procedures to help reduce potential extra costs for U.S.-based customers only:

1. Duty-Paid Inventory (Limited Availability)
Select inventory will be imported into the U.S. with all customs duties, taxes, and fees prepaid. Orders from this inventory will then ship within the U.S. through USPS or UPS, and will not incur additional duties at delivery.

Availability is limited and will be indicated on each product page. Please check the product description to see if an item is part of our Duty-Paid Inventory. Tracking information will be provided once orders are in transit to their final U.S. destination, which may take 2-3 weeks. Please allow up to 4 weeks for delivery.

2. Direct Shipment from Japan:
Once duty-paid inventory is allocated, remaining U.S. orders will be shipped directly from Japan through DHL.

These shipments are subject to U.S. Customs duties and fees upon entry. Currently, this includes an estimated 15% tariff (per U.S.–Japan trade rules) plus any applicable handling fees or brokerage charges. These costs are the responsibility of the customer and are collected by the carrier at delivery.

 

Important notice: Due to U.S. Customs processing times and the recent transition in tariff regulations, delivery times may be longer than usual. U.S. orders are estimated to deliver within 3 weeks.

All products remain available for purchase worldwide. The procedures above apply only to shipments bound for the United States, as they relate specifically to our U.S. fulfillment process. At this time, we are only able to extend these accommodations to U.S.-based orders due to our current logistics capabilities.

We do our best to keep inventory status up to date on product pages. However, due to high demand, Duty-Paid Inventory may sell out quickly. If unavailable at the time of processing, your order may ship from Japan and be subject to applicable duties or fees upon delivery.
