Muro Jacket in Sumi-Dyed Linen

Stand collar jacket in linen canvas dyed with sumizome, a traditional Japanese charcoal-dyeing technique. Wood and bamboo charcoal impart a smoke grey tone and antibacterial properties, and the dye takes differently on every jacket.

The linen carries a vintage character and a dry texture that softens with wear. The sleeves are cut generously and lined with cupro, allowing the jacket to layer easily over other garments and remain comfortable against bare skin. Darted pockets and a two-way zipper sit at the front, a pleated back yoke adds subtle movement, and a waist drawcord adjusts the shape. The silhouette is relaxed and slightly cropped, with a curved back hem that sits slightly shorter than the front.
